Apache Camel Developer

Position Overview: As an Apache Camel Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing integration solutions using Apache Camel. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate systems and applications, ensuring seamless data flow and efficient communication across the organization. The ideal candidate has strong experience in middleware development, a deep understanding of integration patterns, and is passionate about solving complex technical challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop integration solutions using Apache Camel framework.
• Configure and deploy Camel routes to facilitate seamless data exchange between systems and applications.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and business analysts to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Implement EIPs (Enterprise Integration Patterns) and best practices for efficient and scalable integration solutions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot integration processes to ensure performance and reliability.
• Write unit tests and conduct integration testing to validate functionality and performance of integration solutions.
• Document design decisions, APIs, and technical specifications.
• Stay updated with the latest Apache Camel releases, features, and industry trends.

Requirements:

• Proven experience (7+) as a middleware developer or integration engineer with expertise in Apache Camel.
• Strong understanding of EIPs and integration design patterns.
• Proficiency in Java programming language.
• Experience with messaging protocols and technologies such as JMS, AMQP, Kafka, etc.
• Familiarity with enterprise application servers (e.g., Apache Tomcat, JBoss).
• Knowledge of XML, JSON, and other data formats used in integration.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.bility to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot framework.
• Proficient in Postgres and SQL fundamentals.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Certification in Apache Camel or related technologies.
• Experience with other integration frameworks such as MuleSoft, Spring Integration, etc.
• Knowledge of cloud-based integration platforms (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, etc.).
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes).
