- Designing, configuring, and implementing Apache ActiveMQ messaging solutions to meet business requirements.
- Developing and maintaining messaging architectures, including message queues, topics, and brokers.
- Monitoring the performance and health of Apache ActiveMQ instances and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate Apache ActiveMQ with other systems and applications.
- Providing guidance and support to developers and administrators on best practices for using Apache ActiveMQ.
- Documenting configurations, processes, and procedures related to Apache ActiveMQ setup and maintenance.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in Apache ActiveMQ and related technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience working with Apache ActiveMQ in a production environment.
- Strong understanding of messaging concepts, including queues, topics, brokers, and messaging protocols.
- Proficiency in configuring and optimizing Apache ActiveMQ for high availability and performance.
- Experience with monitoring tools and techniques for Apache ActiveMQ, such as JMX and Nagios.
- Solid understanding of networking and security principles as they relate to messaging systems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Apache ActiveMQ certification) is a plus.
