Overview
The Anaplan Lead Consultant is a pivotal role designed to drive the success of Anaplan implementations across various clients. This position requires a thorough understanding of the Anaplan platform and its capabilities, coupled with the ability to analyze client needs and deliver tailored solutions that optimize business performance. The Lead Consultant will act as a trusted advisor, working closely with clients to understand their financial, operational, and strategic planning challenges. Key Responsibilities
- Lead Anaplan implementation projects from inception to completion.
- Engage with clients to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Design and configure Anaplan models based on client-specific needs.
- Conduct workshops to educate clients on Anaplan functionalities and best practices.
- Develop and execute project plans, timelines, and status reports for stakeholders.
- Oversee the work of junior Anaplan consultants and ensure quality deliverables.
- Provide ongoing support and training to clients post-implementation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Anaplan with other business systems.
- Resolve technical issues and provide troubleshooting assistance as needed.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Anaplan product features and new releases.
- Facilitate change management processes to ensure user adoption.
- Prepare and present progress reports and project updates to stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and optimization.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders.
- Participate in pre-sales activities and solution demonstrations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a consulting role, specifically with Anaplan.
- Strong understanding of financial planning and analysis processes.
- Proven experience in leading complex implementation projects.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Technical proficiency in Anaplan modeling and configuration.
- Experience with Agile project management methodologies.
