Analytics and Effectiveness Lead

Blis is looking for an Analytics Lead based in our Mumbai Office.
Purpose
Work with Sales to win new business, retain these clients, and grow their spend with us.

The Insight Team has regional representation in the US, UK, Italy, Asia and ANZ, supported by a team of four Insight Analysts in Mumbai.
Afternoon Shift : 2 pm - 10 pm IST (Mon -Fri)
Key Responsibilities
This is a new role, created to lead Blis evolving measurement and effectiveness proposition.
The Analytics & Effectiveness Lead will manage and develop the Insight Analysts, and liaise regularly with regional Insight reps.
You will work closely with regional Insight reps to understand the brief, spec the project and - with the Insight Analysts - manage each project to completion.
Day-to-day work includes a mix of scheduled updates/repeat reports and campaign effectiveness measurement, while bespoke market, category, or client-specific projects will require collaboration on an ad hoc basis.
Skills and requirements
Experienced in quantitative research and media effectiveness measurement
Understanding of media objectives, and appropriate measurement methodologies (which to apply, and when) is fundamental. Working with data in Excel/Google Sheets is a prerequisite.
Process-oriented
There will be multiple projects running simultaneously, across a number of regions, and with various stakeholders. Managing workloads across the team, pre-empting delays, and meeting deadlines are non-negotiables.
Innovative
We are an innovative business, so a demonstrative appetite to keep improving whatwe do in terms of processes (efficiency, and rigour) and output (quality) is important. As the team continues to grow, and our output multiplies, we will also need to find ways of surfacing key insights simply and clearly.
Solutions mindset
The ideal candidate will know the perfect approach, but must be flexible enough to apply a'practical approach that delivers on client needs, with the tools available.
Lead by example
This is a team lead role, but the ideal candidate will be able to execute all elements from the ground-up, demonstrating best practice in all aspects of set-up, project management, and report delivery.
Communication
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills are necessary to interpret any nuance in the brief, and to relay our methodological recommendations (and to respond to external queries regarding our approach when required) as well as in delivery of reporting (including clarity of data representation).
