The Role
As an Analytics Engineer, you will be an integral part of our data team, contributing to the design and development of scalable data pipelines and managing our business intelligence tools. Your role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders to understand requirements, implementing solutions to improve data quality and accessibility, and driving analytical insights to support decision-making across the organization. You'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from optimizing pipelines to enhancing data security, and play a key role in preparing our data infrastructure for future growth.
As a Member Of Our Team You Will
- Create and maintain scalable and reliable data pipelines to process structured and unstructured data from internal and third-party systems
- Develop accurate, well-documented, and flexible data models to serve as a single source of truth for the organization
- Identify and implement internal process improvements to automate manual tasks, optimize data delivery, and enhance scalability
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to design and develop internal and external reporting solutions to solve business problems and provide valuable insights
- Own and maintain event definitions in Heap to ensure high data quality and extract maximum value from the platform
- Assist internal stakeholders during business hours (9-5 EST) with reporting requests and data quality investigations
- Champion data privacy, quality, and security within the organization
You're the Missing Piece of the Puzzle
- 2+ years of experience as an Analytics Engineer or Data Engineer
- Bachelor's degree with a major in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
- Strong skills in SQL and Python
- Experience with analytics data warehouses such as Redshift, Snowflake, or BigQuery
- Proficiency in data pipeline and workflow management tools such as dbt, AWS Glue, Fivetran and Segment
- Experience with business intelligence tools and familiarity with Sigma and Heap is a plus
- Ability to learn new technologies and strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
