- Responsible for handling guarantees and stand by letter of credit for EMEA Region
- Co-ordinate/work closely with the Middle office, Front office & Relationship managers (Onshore)
- Be able to work closely with Back office team in meeting the client requirements / expectations
- Knowledge on IMEX application would be an advantage.
- Fully aware of the below trade cycle/flow of transactions, thus enabling/guiding the clients in handling TRADE Transactions
- Letter of Guarantee (Issuance, reissuance and Amendment of L/G s including SBLC (Stand by Letter of Credits)
Profile required
1. Manage Guarantee text vetting, Issuances, Amendments, Claims conditional / unconditional, Billings etc,
2. Well versed with URDG 758, ISP98
3. Workflow coordination, queue management & client communication
4. Maintaining the SLA s as required by the Client on timeliness & quality.
5. Managing Escalation / clarifications (ie addressing technical queries, discrepancies within team and from client)
6. Maintain the book of operational procedures and Special practices updated
7. Reports & Training
a. Produce regularly reports on operational activities (quality and quantity) ie daily / weekly production reports, monthly KPI dashboards, etc
b. Training the process and procedures and regular updates to team members
8. Managing the team shift schedule, team attendance, logistics on a daily basis.
- At least 2-4 years of experience and in-depth knowledge in Trade Finance Operations, especially guarantees
- Exposure towards EMEA market is preferable
- Good knowledge of office automation tools (advanced in Excel (Pivot table), medium in Power point
- Knowledge of ISP & URDG (Latest version) is a must
- Working knowledge in IMEX would be preferred.
- Knowledge in Compliance regulations ( Anti-boycott languages, Anti-Money laundering, and OFAC - Office of the Foreign Asset Control
