About The Role
We are now looking for a Specialist, Risk & Control in the Segregation of Duties (SOD)
subteam. You will be responsible for SOD control execution, including SOD ruleset builds and
maintenance, conflict summary analysis report generation, and review with applicable Risk
Owners on the business & IT side.
B.responsible: key areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to:
- Work with stakeholders to evaluate the Segregation of Duties conflicts in SAP and other
applications and consult with business units in reducing the SoD conflicts and/or
implementing mitigation controls to address risk.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation including flow charts, process
narratives, and risk and control matrices, segregation of duties matrices, and any others
required.
- Review and approve changes to system user roles on Segregation of Duties from SOD
Risk & Controls lead standpoint.
- Review and assess the impact of new custom codes on the SOD matrix and rulesets.
- Perform quarterly SOD certifications with respective risk owners.
B.skilled:
5+ years experience with a proven track record strong background in IT & Business Risk
Management, IT Frameworks, Governance, and Controls, and Segregation of Duties.
- 3 years of experience gained within compliance, internal controls, and/or audit.
- Practical experience with ERP (SAP S/4 HANA and SAP ECC preferred) systems.
- Practical experience with other SAP technologies (e. g., HANA DB, SAP GRC) is a plus.
- Good understanding of overall business processes.
- Strong stakeholder management skills (risk/function owners, auditors).
- Ability to multitask and successfully manage multiple priorities and projects.
- Strong work ethic, enthusiastic, self-starting, adaptable, and enjoys change.
- Independent and autonomous, while still a strong team player.
- Fully comfortable working in English, both written and spoken.
- Professional certification, such as CPA/ACCA/CISA (or similar), would be an advantage.
- Solid experience in creating reporting, status trackers, presentation packs for the senior
leadership team. Familiarity with project management tools
- Proven ability to navigate & execute projects in agile environment, without over-
engineering things
- Enjoys a fast paced, dynamic environment and able to work under pressure
- Pragmatic, able to solve several impediments by him/herself & can-do mindset
- Excellent communication skills to interact with audit teams, management and other
stakeholders effectively
- Result oriented & customer focused
- Ability to work effectively in a virtual environment
- Experience working with a Big4 is preferred
- Relevant Bachelor's degree required.
