In this role you will add value to PXP by:
This role ensures the Supervision of Partners, Merchants, and B2C customers transaction activity to mitigate the risk of financial losses. The role has to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
A typical week as a Finance Analyst includes:
- Transactions analysis: Review daily transaction monitoring reports and alerts and communicate with the Merchants and partners about any unusual transaction behaviour. Escalate when required.
- Chargeback and Fraud Analysis: Daily monitoring of merchant activity on the Acquiring accounts to identify any cases of high-risk exposure for PXP in respect of potential Card Schemes Chargeback or Fraud threshold breach. Analyse trends using available tools and reports.
- Assist the merchants to prevent chargebacks and fraud, by account activity review and identification of fraud patterns. Recommend tools and rules to implement on either the merchant or PXP's side.
- Risk support: Assist merchants by responding to any queries from them, in respect of potentially fraudulent transactions (e.g., verification calls with acquirers, issuers and payment providers).
- Assist in the conduct of internal and external inquiries, received from banks and other payment institutions, law enforcement agencies, and local regulators. Prepare and send responses to such inquiries.
- Creation of reports for use by internal and external stakeholders.
- Be updated with relevant scheme updates, rules and procedures.
- Other tasks required to be performed as part of Risk Monitoring.
We are looking for someone who has the following:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- 2- 4 years of experience in Risk operations, Chargeback, and Fraud analysis.
- Good work experience in MS Excel.
- Active listener and Attention to detail.
- Good written and oral communication skills in English.
- Ability to clearly understand and follow instructions.
- Investigate and clearly outline the outcome.
- Data analysis, logical thinking, and analytical skills.
- Integrity and Teamwork.
We would love someone to have any of the following:
- Experience in using Data Models
- Experience in using VROL, MasterCom and Mastercard Fraud Center
- Splunk
