Desired Skills And Experience
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in data science, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 2-3 years in Python development.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, specifically with data manipulation and data visualization libraries. Good to have knowledge in regression analysis. Advanced Excel skills. VBA knowledge will be an added advantage.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Good to have Qualifications:
- Statistical skills. Having basic idea of what's happening in the market, drivers of equity market and macro-economic trends like GDP, Interest rates, is certainly advantageous (this is optional).
- Knowledge of SQL and database management.
- Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Creation and Manipulation: Utilize Python libraries such as Pandas and Matplotlib to create, manipulate, and visualize data.
- Data Analysis: Perform detailed data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions.
- Excel Proficiency: Use Excel for data organization, analysis, and reporting.
- Reporting: Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide relevant insights.
