How You Will Contribute:
Reporting to Director - Supply Chain Applications, as the Analyst, IT Applications, you will partner with Supply Chain and Logistics business users globally to implement or enhance Order Management & Order Promising capabilities to meet business needs. You will also work on Oracle as well as non-Oracle products in Ciena's Order management and Order promising space.
You will lead the design and implementation of robust and scalable solution in Order management using Oracle Order management, Cloud GOP/BM and inventory capabilities and lead the identification of opportunities for improvement.
Working with internal and external stakeholders including Order management , distribution and Scheduling Business Users, external implementation team, AMS Partner, Product team, Ciena PMO Teams and internal IT Teams, you will drive projects in Order management , Order scheduling & distribution functions.
You will interact with the business and work with multi location teams to plan the activities required to meet project deadlines.
You will oversee AMS support for Order Management, inventory configurations, Cloud GOP/BM and peripheral logistics management systems, troubleshooting issues. Identifying root causes and debugging & delivering robust timely fixes in case of urgent Ordering , scheduling & shipping issues.
You will design Supply Chain with Oracle R12 & other Cloud applications
You will review new functionalities in quarterly release patches on Cloud solutions.

The Must Haves:
Bachelor in Engineering / MBA, coupled with extensive experience in Oracle Fusion apps and Order Management
Demonstrated understanding of the end-to-end supply chain process
Extensive global large-scale OM, Order scheduling,WMS and Inventory implementation knowledge
Experience working on enhancement projects using Agile methodology
Excellent analytical and trouble shooting skills with the ability to provide support on top priority issues
Proven understanding of Supply Chain Interfaces / business object translation, data mapping, Transmission Management and related functionality in EBS/Fusion integrations.
Proven understanding of external and internal Order integrations.
Well-versed with the Cloud integration architecture and Oracle Applications Architecture in R12 and Oracle Fusion
