Job Description

Provide support for various Operational Risk activities, including monthly dashboard reporting to Middle Office management.
Support Middle Office colleagues in their use of key control tools, including managing accesses and updating team structures.
Support issuance and completion of Internal Financial Controls including all aspects of control related queries including liaising with users and IT; ensuring queries/changes are well documented.
Maintain the team s dashboard efficiently for all open and pipeline tasks.
Support the operation of and reporting on certain centralized controls for Middle Office and ESS, such as payment authority levels, write off limits, segregation of duties for system access etc.
Provide support in respect of changes to existing IFC or other control reports whether driven by user request, changes in business processes/ systems or external environment e.g., legal entity changes, also data testing, reconciliation, and documentation.
Support other Operational Risk and Control related activities as required.
You will report to Senior Manager.

Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills

Thorough data interpretation skills to ensure a high quality and reliable output is produced.
Excellent analytical skills (both qualitative and quantitative) and attention to detail, able to analyze and identify discrepancies.
Ability to independently understand a scenario and implement appropriate actions thereby adding value to the task assigned.
Continuous improvement mindset, willingness to learn and take initiative.
Desired Skills and Abilities:
Couple of years of work experience at AXA XL or other entity
Experience of working with reports, including validating and interpreting data
Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
An understanding of Insurance Operations at AXA XL would be beneficial.
Experience of Operational Risk/ Control/ Audit concepts and/or academic qualification in Risk Management would be an advantage.
