Position: Analyst

Reports to: Lead Investment Manager
Job Summary:
The Analyst will support the family office's investment team by providing detailed analysis and reporting on listed stocks, debt, unlisted investments, and alternative deals. The role requires a keen understanding of financial markets, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex information effectively. The Analyst will work closely under the guidance of the Lead Investment Manager to contribute to the overall investment strategy and decision-making process.
- Expertise- Understanding of the various types of financial markets including listed, debt and unlisted. Further understanding tax laws pertaining to financial markets is necessary.
- Conduct preliminary analysis of listed stocks, debt instruments, unlisted investments, and alternative deals.
- Monitor and report market trends, economic indicators, and industry developments to provide timely insights and recommendations.
- Assist in the identification of new investment opportunities across public and private markets.
- Prepare regular reports on portfolio performance, including detailed analysis of individual holdings across asset classes.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and other tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and other relevant metrics.
- Produce ad-hoc reports as requested by the Lead Investment Manager and senior management.
- Investment Management Support:
- Collaborate with the investment team to develop and refine investment strategies for listed stocks, debt, unlisted investments, and alternative deals.
- Participate in investment committee meetings, providing analysis and insights to support decision-making.
- Assist in the preparation of investment proposals and presentations for the family office principals.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. CFA designation preferred.
- Analytical skills with proficiency in financial modelling and valuation techniques.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
