nRole Summary:
nWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate to join our SSC Intercompany team. The candidate should have a strong background in accounting and Record to Report (RTR) processes.
nEducational Qualification: Candidates must be a postgraduate in MCOM/MBA/CA Inter 08-10 years relevant/corporate work experience.
nJob Responsibilities:
- nResponsible for the timely completion of intercompany accounting activities
- nPrepare consolidated Intercompany AR AP reports daily/monthly. Investigate OOB and resolve differences.
- nPrepare and post the journal entries in accordance with the standards and control framework.
- nPreparation of reconciliations, including aged analysis, and uploading into Blackline
- nPerforming Intercompany settlement of invoices in line with all applicable statutory requirements: accounting, tax, and treasury
- nAssist in the execution of specific controls within accounting processes and other general accounting activities.
- nAssist with internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations.
- nPartner with local finance on a monthly / quarterly basis
- nEnsure compliance with US GAAP, local GAAP, Tax accounting rules along with SOX where applicable.
- nEnsure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
- nBrainstorm and reevaluate the processes for automation as a continuous improvement.
- nPromptly respond to information requests from internal and external stakeholders
- nMaintain & safeguard required documentation.
nTechnical Qualification: SAP and Blackline
nOther Skill Sets:
- nProficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Excel, Outlook, teams)
- nBPC & Power BI reporting tools are value added.
- nStrong accounting, analytical and critical thinking skills.
- nInitiative-taking and a strong collaborator.
