At our office in Mumbai, India, you will join the FMC indirect tax team. More specifically, you will step into our regional indirect tax team alongside experienced colleagues. As part of Indirect Tax Team, you will manage the VAT compliance of several entities within the APAC region and the major focus will be on India business operation

Your main responsibility will be to manage indirect tax compliance, reporting and litigation support for all the states wherever business operation exist in India with activities such as but not limited to guiding business team, filing indirect tax returns, submitting refund claims, performing account reconcilation, ensuring completion of audit or assessment with external parties, carrying out data validation, ensuring timely tax paymen
ts.

Ensuring timely and accurate compliance and reporting obligations including indirect tax returns, reconciliation, assessment, trackers, tax accounting, audit and not - ices;Partner with members from the business team required any any inputs from compliance and reporting obligations to ensure full align
- ment;Supporting the litigation matter including drafting and representing for various show cause notices / Appeal / past litigations related to GST, Excise, VAT / CST and Service
- Tax;Tax Planning, opportunity and optimizing efficiency through continuous evaluation and improvement process including monitoring recent changes on tax reporting and compliances including indirect tax poli
- cies.Ensuring all the supporting records are maintained for the tax compliance and reporting already completed as this will impact future au
- dits;Communicating with with external and internal stakeholders on various indirect tax matters to bring the desired results and be compl
- iant;Achieve deadlines set by leadership and the business and proactively monitor and raise instances where deadlines cannot be met in a timely fas
- hion;Participate in strategic continuous improvement initiatives in the organisation, achieving identified financial, process and talent g
