nBasic/ Essential Qualifications:
- nQualified Accountant CA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA, ICWA with strong and relevant financial control experience.
- nStrong understanding/practical experience on application of Accounting Standards/IFRS and control awareness.
- nEnthusiastic, motivated, self-starter, pro-active and team player with Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communicator.n
Desirable skillsets/ good to have:
- nExperience of working in SAP financial accounting & BCE.
- nGood Accounting and IT System skills
- nPractical experience on new aged system/technologies like GTB, Alteryx, MS tools etc. will be an added advantage.

nPurpose of the role
nTo manage the financial operations of the organisation, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of financial reporting.
nAccountabilities
- nManagement of the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial statements, and other accounting records in accordance with the relevant accounting standards, rules and regulations.
- nSupport in identification, assessment, and mitigation of financial risks, and report on these financial risks to senior colleagues.
- nDevelopment and maintenance of a robust system of internal controls to safeguard assets, ensure that there is no fraudulent misreporting, and ensure the accuracy of financial data, including regular assessment of the effectiveness of internal controls addressing any weaknesses or gaps. .
- nDevelopment and implementation of up-to-date financial policies and procedures to ensure consistent and effective financial practices across the organisation.
- nManagement of the selection, implementation, and maintenance of financial systems and software applications, including collaboration with IT colleagues to integrate financial systems with other enterprise systems.
- nPreparation and submission of statutory and regulatory reports to authorities, and provision of support to other departments in their preparation and review of regulatory reports.
- nCoordination with external auditors and regulatory authorities in support of audits and examinations.
