Job Description
JD: Technical skills: One of the scripting languages (Shell / Python) are mandatory. Good experience in Jenkins tool configuration and administration. Strong experience in Git and/or Bitbucket and/or GitLab administration (repository management, project management, source code clone/commit/push). Good experience in CI/CD pipelines setup, build jobs creation and execution in Jenkins and/or GitLab. Strong Experience in troubleshooting various type of build failures and their resolution in timely manner. Strong experience in monitoring build jobs and deployment streams in various environments (Dev/UAT/Pre-Prod/Prod etc.). Good experience in writing Shell/BASH scripts and/or python scripts. Ability to contribute towards migration / upgradation of DevOps toolsets in customer environments for builds and deployments. Delivery, Processes and Soft skills: Ability to mentor team members on various issues encountered in the project Knowledge Management - document issues and their resolutions. Ability to effectively explain current CI/CD and release cadence to the stakeholders and team members. Ability to effectively communicate with end users & stakeholders to understand their requirements and plan project activities accordingly. Good exposure to Service Management (SLAs, OLAs, KPIs, KRAs etc.). Good to Have skills: Understanding of Azure Cloud fundamentals. Understanding and exposure in Automation area to automate day to day tasks in the project. Note: Commonly used toolsets in the current arena are Bitbucket, Jenkins, Confluence, Artifactory, Harbor, Rancher, and GITLAB. Experience in Bitbucket, Jenkins, and one of the scripting languages (Shell / Python) are mandatory.
