The firm is looking for an Analyst to join its Legal & Compliance team in Hyderabad, India. The Compliance group, which is an integral part of our global Financial Operations group, is responsible for implementing and enforcing policies and procedures, such as the firm's Code of Ethics policies designed to detect and prevent insider trading.
WHAT YOU'LL DO DAY-TO-DAY:
You will be working closely with attorneys and compliance professionals to help ensure that the firm's business activities are conducted in strict accordance with regulatory requirements. You will be reviewing reports relating to trading activities to assist the firm in meeting its regulatory obligations. Furthermore, you will be assisting the Compliance team in filings related to regulatory obligations, which requires complex quantitative and qualitative analysis of the firm's data. You will also be part of long-term projects with the development and analytics teams to maintain the firm's high standards of compliance with new and existing regulations. Additionally, you will be working closely with members of Compliance across different offices to discuss the implementation of policies and procedures for underlying processes.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- A master's degree in finance, along with 0 to 3 years of work experience in the financial services industry
- Self-motivation, a results-oriented mindset, robust analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to learn quickly, high attention to detail, and the capacity to meet tight deadlines
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, along with robust interpersonal skills
