Senior Analog and IO Timing and Power Characterization and Modeling Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Lead timing and power characterization and modeling efforts for analog and I/O circuits using tools such as SiliconSmart or Liberate.
- Generate and maintain .lib views for analog and I/O circuit blocks to support digital design flows.
- Develop and refine methodologies for accurate and efficient timing and power characterization.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices for timing and power modeling.
- Collaborate closely with design, verification, and digital implementation teams to ensure successful integration of models.
- Analyze circuit performance and provide recommendations for optimization to meet design specifications.
- Validate models against silicon measurements and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
- Interface with process technology teams to understand and incorporate process variations into models.
- Document characterization methodologies, results, and recommendations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of industry advancements in timing and power characterization methodologies and tools.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's/Master's/Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in timing and power characterization and modeling for analog and I/O circuits.
- Proficiency in using tools such as SiliconSmart or Liberate for generating .lib views.
- Strong understanding of analog and I/O circuit design principles and methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and ability to mentor junior engineers.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Tcl, or Perl for automation tasks is a plus.
- Prior experience in semiconductor industry and familiarity with process technology is preferred.
