- Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging learning environment for children
- Prepare and implement developmentally appropriate Montessori curriculum and lesson plans and incorporate other learning activities that align with the Montessori philosophy
- Observe and assess children's development, identify individual needs and interests, and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about their child's progress and needs, and provide guidance on how to support their child's learning at home
- Maintain accurate and organized records of student progress, attendance, and other important information
- Knowledge of child development theories and early childhood education practices
- Ability to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment for children
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of individual children
