Procurement process execution
Drive material resource planning ensuring best practice purchasing in terms of quality, delivery time and efficiency
Develop inventory plan for all the categories
Develop PO status tracker for all the categories
Place PO in a timely and effective manner
Develop product testing and BOM validation formats for all the vendors
Facilitate development of action plan for supplies as per sales requirements
Vendor management
Coordinate with vendor for timely and adequate supply of goods
Coordinate with Planning & Production team to develop purchase plan, plan inventory and PO placement
Coordinate with Commodity team to ensure timely supply of commodities to vendors
Coordinate with commodity and costing team to update the latest prices in SAP for PO placements
Coordinate with Quality to share inputs with vendors on driving better product
Operational Metrics
Responsiveness to sales requirements (Lead time of PO placement, communication to vendor etc.)
Adherence to latest negotiated prices for PO placement
Minimization of sales and process disruptions due to unavailability of goods
Lead time of goods delivery
Putting in place structured process to track PO and goods status
Ensuring coordination with Sales and Process teams to respond quickly and effectively to their requirements
