Jab Profile
Technical sales manager is responsible for generation of leads, getting our brand specified in all major private projects and government tenders in order to be listed as a preferred brand by the concerned stake holders like Builders/ Developers/ MEP Consultants/ Government Departments etc, by providing technical solutions for the Pipes and Fittings business in a particular zone/ territory. He/she will also help in technical training of sales executives.
Responsibilities
- Create product sales penetration via leads, brand specifications and technical consultation to the community by working with influencers (MEP consultants, builders, Government organisations)
- Works closely with Sales team to prospect and capture major projects (mainly residential)
- Would represent Pipes & Fittings in conferences related to Building materials and exhibitions for the same in order to develop relationship with the MEP consultants and companies
- Should serve as an industry/market resource with regard to technical data and support on products enhancements & development and their various applications in comparison with the competitors
- Develop strong relationships with potential consultants influencing the end customer (could be developers or construction companies)
- Impart the knowledge on the good installation practice to the customer and technical training to the sales executives on the
Deliverables
- Responsible for getting our brand specified in Govt. Project Tenders /private Projects / MEP consultants, etc
- Establish/Build relationship with MEP consultants to bring them on-board and create consistent business opportunities through them by brand specifications.
- Meeting key MEP consultants, contractors, Builders and customers from various segment for technical presentation and discussion
- Providing technical support/ training to the sales team
- Resolving customer complaints related to technical on time
- Guiding the builder / contractor on good installation practices
Candidate Profile
Qualification should be BE / B Tech Mechanical / Civil
Minimum of 4 - 10 years of experience as Technical Sales / Technical Executive / Specifier from Plumbing Companies.
Should have good connect with PMC/ MEP consultants/ Architects
