Crash CAE Simulation & Evaluation
Responsibility
- Preparing full vehicle models using HYPERMESH/ ANSA/PRIMER
- Full vehicle simulation using LS-DYNA software
- Model Optimization and Robustness using Diffcrash, Mode Frontier, LS-OPT
- Results interpretation LS-Pre Post/ Hyperview/ Hyper Graph and report preparation.
- Correlation with physical tests and improvement in CAE methodology.
Technical/Functional
Competency Requirements:
- Vehicle/BIW model setup for crash cae using Hymermesh
- Experience in analysis and counter measures development for evaluations as per regulations/NCAP of domestic/export destinations
- Good understanding of sheet metal & plastic part design
- Knowledge of AIS Safety Regulations, NCAP protocols
- Experience in Model builds, System level/ Full Vehicle Simulations
- Experience in working in automotive crash/ occupant safety simulations
- Debug the model for LS- Dyna environment, interpret the results, post process the deck
- Should have Experience of working with CAE engineers and making design modifications based on CAE inputs
- Experience in interpreting and understanding FEA results, post- processing and preparing comprehensive analysis reports with countermeasure proposal for meeting performance-targets
- Exposure to Physical test procedure & ability to understand physical test result will be preferred
