JOB PURPOSE
Explore existing/ongoing strategic/tactical researches L1/L2/L3 to build deeper insights for Smartphone category
Identify improvement areas, new growth opportunities & avenues and accordingly device strategies to give directions to various stakeholders (Product, OS)
End to end handling of research projects in collaboration with agencies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Understand business objectives and create right strategic framework based on an efficient research design. Evaluate methodology ensuring delivery of high-quality data and report.
- Continuously build knowledge base of Indian smartphone & related industry and track key consumer and market trends. Acquire deep understanding of Indian consumer's needs, values and usage behaviour to help create hot selling product and help improve brand image & equity
- Take full responsibility of entire project cycle and provide valuable contributions: Analyse data of consumers, competitors and market place and consolidate information into actionable items, reports and presentations
- Build a know-how of various research tools and techniques and support team members with various ongoing research projects for ensuring timely deliverables and adding and self-learning on building various research skills for addressing business problem to get actionable insights.
- Create & maintain a friendly working environment within the team ensuring timely closure of projects.
- Represent the company to consulting & research agencies and ensure high quality business communication & interactions.
QUALIFICATIONS, CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum Qualifications : Post Graduate
- Specialist Qualifications / Certifications : Expertise in Consumer & Primary Research Analysis
- Specific experience : 3 to 5 years in market Research, strategy or similar team of a reputed brand in FMCG, Smartphone, Consumer Electronics or MR agency
