Essential Job Functions
- Alteryx Monitor nightly content backup script (application shell command script backs up the MongoDB and stores them on separate server); plus ensure backup file cleanup periodically
- Alteryx Renew SSL certificates
- Alteryx Review vulnerability scan reports for servers and research as needed
- Alteryx Setup new users with licenses and access to the Alteryx Gallery; periodically revoke licenses and respond to license questions
- Alteryx Application upgrades: Planning, testing, implementing, communicating
- Alteryx Periodically review workflow schedule for job contention, from too many jobs scheduled at same time.
- Alteryx Monitor disk space usage & CPU periodically
- Alteryx Respond to tickets / email / IM requests for trouble-shooting assistance, connecting to new/existing data sources, etc.
- Alteryx Trending reporting for performance
- Tableau Renew SSL certificates
- Tableau Renew client id secrets
- Tableau QMW testing
- Tableau DR testing
- Tableau Trending reporting for performance
- Tableau Review vulnerability scan reports for servers and research as needed
- Tableau Monitor disk space usage & CPU periodically
- Tableau Setup new users with Desktop licenses
- Tableau Setup Tableau Server access for users
- Tableau Quarterly audit to remove terminated users - Tableau Server & Desktop licenses
- Tableau Application maintenance releases (frequency is variable, depending on vulnerabilities or application issues; time estimate allows for one annual maintenance release, in addition to major version upgrade, but could be more)
- Tableau Application upgrades: Planning, testing, implementing, communicating
- Tableau Respond to tickets / email / IM requests for trouble-shooting assistance, new data sources as needed (i.e. Remya's sources), etc.
- Tableau Creating new Tableau projects plus security groups for new content areas
