Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Allscripts Database ETL Expert with a strong proficiency in SQL and expertise in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and data mapping. The ideal candidate will have expert-level knowledge of Allscripts and Allscripts Pro databases, and the ability to handle ETL transformations on large data sets. Intermediate knowledge of Misys medical database is considered an asset. This role involves managing and optimizing databases, ensuring data integrity, and supporting our healthcare technology solutions.
Job Title: Allscripts Database ETL Expert
Location: Remote
Working Hours: 3 PM IST to 12 AM IST
Experience Required: Minimum 3 years
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Allscripts and Allscripts Pro databases to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts.
- Design, implement, and manage ETLprocesses to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into Allscripts databases.
- Perform data mapping, data integration, and data migration tasks to ensure seamless data flow across systems.
- Handle ETL transformations on large data sets to support various business needs.
- Monitor database performance, identify issues, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with development and IT teams to design and implement database solutions and ETL workflows.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with industry regulations.
- Provide technical support and training to internal teams and end-users.
- Document database processes, ETL workflows, procedures, and standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Database Administrator (DBA) with expert-level knowledge of Allscripts and Allscripts Pro database systems.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, including query writing, optimization, and performance tuning.
- Extensive experience with ETL tools and processes (e.g., Informatica, Talend, SSIS).
- Knowledge of data mapping, data integration, and data migration techniques.
- Intermediate knowledge of Misys medical database is an asset.
- Experience with database management systems (DBMS) and database technologies.
- Familiarity with healthcare data standards and regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other healthcare database systems and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Certification in database management or related fields.
- Experience with data analytics and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of cloud-based ETL solutions and data warehousing.
