About the Internship:

Our 3-month Algal Biotechnology and Bioentrepreneurship Internship offers a hands-on learning experience for those passionate about algae's potential in biotechnology and entrepreneurship. You'll gain practical experience in algal biology, biotechnology applications, and the business side of bioentrepreneurship, culminating in a significant project.

Key Responsibilities:

Learn the fundamentals of algal biology and biotechnology.

Explore algae applications in biofuels, nutraceuticals, and environmental sustainability.

Gain insights into genetic manipulation, synthetic biology, and bioinformatics.

Develop research skills, including experimental design, data analysis, and scientific writing.

Understand the entrepreneurial aspects, such as business planning, intellectual property, and marketing.

Engage in community outreach and advocacy efforts.

Qualifications:

Passion for environmental sustainability, algal biotechnology, and bioentrepreneurship.

Strong research, analytical, and technical skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.

Commitment to positive environmental change and advocacy.

Background in biotechnology, biology, chemistry, environmental science, data science, engineering, or any STEM or social sciences field is preferred.

Must have the legal right to work from the country you are applying.
