When you join Developer Software Engineering, you'll be part of an Intel team that develops state-of-the-art tools such as compilers, libraries and performance analysis tools. Our products enable developers to unlock the performance of Intel's broad product line from laptops to supercomputers. We are currently expanding our Analyzers Engineering team with a focus on develop and optimize AI PC use cases on Intel platforms. These tools help Intel's customers use our world-changing technology more effectively, to improve the life of every person on the planet.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your school-work, classes, research and, or relevant previous job and, or internship experiences. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering with Software focus area or related technical discipline and 3+ years of work experience. Relevant coursework/experience in computer architecture, software engineering, and operating systems Sufficient competence in C++/C and embedded programming/debugging to start immediately as a developer Experience with software development on both Windows and Linux platforms. Must Have Be part of a team that is actively engaged with internal teams responsible for optimization of new GPU platforms, drivers and OneAPI SW stack prior to product launch Experience with performance benchmarking, performance profiling, workload analysis and optimization of an AI/HPC GPU/NPU based applications Excellent C++ programming skills and any one of the following C/Python/Bash/Scripting Languages Knowledge of parallel programming technologies in one of following such as DPC++, MPI, OpenMP, OpenCL etc Prior experience in deployment strategies , performance optimization, multi node, multi GPU scaling big plus Enablement of new deep learning or AI models from various domains in Intel OpenVINO toolkit Good to have experience in deploying/optimizing distributed training on CPU/GPU/NPU Experience in low level software optimization, vectorization to maximize hardware utilization Excellent debugging skills with gdb, windbg Good to have Experience in Linux/Windows device driver development or embedded software development. Working knowledge of GPU KMD/UMD stack of iGPU/dGPU Strong production software engineering background, experience with CI, code reviews, unit and integration testing Proficiency in working with UNIX/Linux environments and command-line tools Self-motivated and adaptive to evolving requirements and able to contribute independently Ability to work in cross-geo Agile team environment and excellent communication skills

Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
