About The Role
We are looking for a visionary AI Lead with a passion for leveraging artificial intelligence to automate and optimize underwriting processes. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AI/ML techniques, experience with multi-modal data, and a strong background in developing scalable AI solutions.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of AI-driven solutions to automate underwriting processes.
- Explore and integrate new data sources to enhance the multi-modal underwriting information graph.
- Define, develop, and refine underwriting rules using advanced machine learning and AI techniques.
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to build and deploy scalable AI models.
- Ensure the accuracy, efficiency, and regulatory compliance of the AI-driven underwriting system.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI/ML and apply best practices to improve the system continually.
- Mentor and guide junior AI team members, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
Skills And Qualifications
- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in AI/ML, with a focus on applying these technologies to real-world problems.
- Proven track record in developing and deploying AI solutions in the insurance or financial services industry.
- Strong expertise in machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.) and programming languages (Python, R, etc.).
- Experience with multi-modal data integration and analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about how to achieve business objectives through AI.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with underwriting processes and insurance domain knowledge or related fields.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the insurance industry.
- Publications or patents in the field of AI/ML.
