Position Overview:
We are seeking an AI Engineer with a strong background in Python, vector databases, and AI agent workflows. You will be responsible for designing and building intelligent systems that leverage our data to create meaningful, scalable solutions for cloud cost optimization. This role is perfect for someone excited about working with emerging technologies in the AI space and building sophisticated agentic workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy AI-driven features and workflows using Python.
- Implement agentic workflows using LangChain and LangGraph, allowing our FinOps agent (FI) to carry out complex tasks autonomously.
- Utilize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to enable more efficient, real-time data retrieval for AI models.
- Build and maintain vector databases using ChromaDB, ensuring high-quality indexing and search capabilities.
- Work with MongoDB for structured data storage and management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, product managers, and developers, to build scalable, customer-focused AI solutions.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and integrate cutting-edge research into our product offerings.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong fundamentals in AI application development using Python.
- Strong proficiency in Python, with the ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Must have experience building chatbots with a human-in-the-loop approach.
- Proven experience with LangChain and/or LangGraph, specifically for building agentic workflows.
- Familiarity with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques for AI-driven data retrieval.
- Experience in working with and fine-tuning large language models.
- Hands-on experience with ChromaDB for vector-based data storage and search.
- Experience with MongoDB for NoSQL database needs.
- Strong SQL and database knowledge.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and drive projects from start to finish.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a desire to tackle complex AI challenges.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with web application development. Particularly with React.js and JavaScript.
- Experience in FinOps or cloud cost management is a plus.
- Experience in integrating AI models into production environments.
