Agro Contract Farming – Sr. Executive (Organic)

Job Summary:

The Sr. Executive in Agro Contract Farming will oversee organic marigold cultivation and processing activities. The role involves managing relationships with farmers, ensuring compliance with organic farming standards, and driving productivity and quality in marigold production.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement organic farming practices for marigold cultivation.

Manage and coordinate with farmers for timely sowing, nurturing, and harvesting of crops.

Monitor and ensure compliance with organic certification standards.

Analyze soil health and provide recommendations for organic fertilizers and pest management.

Conduct training sessions for farmers on best farming practices and organic methodologies.

Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure the quality of harvested marigold.

Prepare reports on farming activities, yield, and farmer performance.

Key Skills Required:

Strong knowledge of organic farming practices and regulations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for farmer engagement.

Analytical skills for monitoring soil health and crop performance.

Relevant Experience:

Minimum 5 years of experience in agro contract farming, specifically in organic farming.

Experience in marigold or other flower cultivation is preferred.

Proven track record of managing farmer relationships and ensuring compliance with agricultural standards.

Non-Negotiables:

Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or related field.

Certification in organic farming practices.

Willingness to travel frequently to farms.
