Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Pani Panchayat Support Service Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agriculture Science, Technology, or Engineering and at least 5 years of hands-on experience in the formation and management of Pani Panchayats. This role requires expertise in providing support services to Pani Panchayats, with a focus on crop planning and diversification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formation and Management: Lead the formation and effective management of Pani Panchayats, ensuring sustainability and community engagement.
- Support Services: Provide comprehensive support services to existing Pani Panchayats, assisting in operational and strategic planning.
- Crop Planning: Develop and implement crop planning strategies tailored to the needs of the Pani Panchayats, optimizing resource use and improving yield.
- Diversification: Promote crop diversification to enhance resilience and profitability for Pani Panchayats.
- Training and Capacity Building: Conduct training sessions and workshops to build the capacity of Pani Panchayat members.
- Monitoring and Evaluation: Establish and maintain monitoring and evaluation systems to assess the performance and impact of Pani Panchayats.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with various stakeholders including government agencies, NGOs, and community leaders to support the objectives of the Pani Panchayats.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on the progress, challenges, and achievements of the Pani Panchayats.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education: Bachelor's or higher degree in Agriculture Science, Technology, or Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in the formation and management of Pani Panchayats and providing support services to them.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in crop planning and diversification strategies.
- Strong understanding of agricultural practices and water resource management.
