Job Purpose

To monitor Active Equipment Operations at field and achieve operational excellence by providing support on BSS and MW systems and interaction with IP partners. Monitoring and control on spares and Opex cost by coordinating with relevant stake holders.

Key Result Areas/Accountabilities

  • To support 24x7 network operation to the field teams to achieve uptime 99.9%
  • Coordination with the IP partners for governance, SLA signoff, Opex cost and other operational aspects
  • Coordination with SNOC, Central teams to achieve service excellence and improvement of network availability
  • To coordinate with various vendors in order to provide support to field teams in conducting their daily operations efficiently.
  • Support in overcoming technical issues reported during physical activities/ different quality improvement initiatives like TRX addition/replacement, node up-gradation, microwave link restructuring etc.
  • Coordination with other network verticals to for implementation of new/ various initiatives pertaining to network improvement/ cost reduction etc.
  • Spare and inventory handling and support in RS&R in coordination with central team and OEMs.
  • Compliance to HSW and WFM KPIs
  • Validation of energy and other cost related parameters at site level and identification of saving opportunities
  • Generation of various MIS pertaining to network KPIs, Cost and other actions.

Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience

  • Strong understanding of BSS and MW (Nokia and Huawei )
  • Hands on experience of handling Nokia and Huawei BSS and MW network elements
  • Ability to influence Infra partners, Govt. and Local agencies, Telecom Vendors and other third party service/goods providers.
  • Effective communications and relationship management
  • Agility and positive attitude

Must have technical/professional qualifications

  • B.E/ B.Tech. with 105+ years of field operation / OEM experience.
