KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The AGM / DGM - Electrical Engineer will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of electrical engineering within the project lifecycle, from concept design to execution. This role requires a thorough understanding of electrical load calculations, transformer sizing, DG sizing, short circuit analysis, voltage drop calculations, cable sizing, earthing systems, lighting calculations, and UPS/inverter sizing. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in reviewing designs, managing contractors, and ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Design & Calculation:
Perform and review electrical design calculations, including load calculations, transformer sizing, DG sizing, short circuit analysis, voltage drop, cable sizing, earthing, lighting, and UPS/inverter sizing.
Conduct design reviews from concept through detailed design stages.
Project Management:
Plan, design, budget, and execute electrical works for utility and office buildings.
Organize and lead project review meetings to track progress, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure QA/QC procedures are followed.
Tender & Budgeting:
Estimate project costs and prepare budgets.
Review and approve tender materials and proposals submitted by contractors, ensuring compliance with contract documents and standards.
Contractor Management:
Swiftly address Requests for Information (RFIs) from contractors and project managers to comply with contractual requirements.
Review contractor submissions, including Project Quality Plans (PQP), Construction Inspection Plans (CIPs), and method statements, ensuring they are approved before work commences.
Evaluate contractor change order proposals, and claims, and provide recommendations for approval or rejection.
Site Coordination:
Review site records, designs, specifications, and contract documents.
Assist in approving contractors work setting out and conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to plans.
Coordinate with internal/external architects, MEP consultants, and other package consultants for seamless interfacing of works.
Testing & Commissioning:
Witness and supervise the testing and commissioning of electrical systems and related works.
Ensure proper commissioning and handover of systems, including electrical, FA-PA, fire fighting, HVAC, DG, and sub-station systems.
Quality Control:
Monitor the final completion of work, ensuring all punch list items are accurately documented and addressed.
Ensure all works are executed in line with the latest guidelines from relevant government departments.
Vendor Management:
Select and manage vendors, ensuring timely and quality delivery of materials and services.
Skills:
Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and construction practices.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Proficient in project management software and tools.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, plans, and specifications.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Additional Requirements:
Willingness to travel to various project sites in Mumbai.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Pay: 2,000,000.00 - 2,500,000.00 per year
