Job Objective
To spearhead Land Acquisition function for Aluminum BU comprising , but not limited to Forest Land, Non forest Government Land, Private Land et.al. for Bauxite Mines and Alumina Refinery. Later, the same professional shall lead land acquisitions for Smelters and Coal Mines as per company requirements and applicable laws in force.
Strategic Roles & Responsibilities
Liaising with various Government agencies at district and state level including Land & Revenue Department, Environment & Forestry Departmental
Responsible for the completion of land acquisition as per business plan, Alienation & implementation of Rehabilitation & Resettlement activities.
Carrying out necessary DGPS Survey for demarcation of the land boundary and obtaining approval thereof.
Ensuring proper and timely documentation and filing of the land records and its implementation in internal systems like DMS.
Demonstration of perseverance, patience and restraint while dealing with land losers and displaced families.
# Identify CSR/community needs assessment in the project affected villages by engaging affected communities.
# Prepare Annual CSR budget/calendar based on identified community needs
# Identify Government/NGO funded projects and execute them.
# Deal with day to day operational issues of villages / villagers
# Liaison with Local Gram Panchayats/ Local Leaders/Govt. agencies/District Administration for effective implementation of CSR projects.
# Prepare Award documents for successful Community Development Initiative.
# Publish CSR events in the Foundation/Local newspapers and magazines
Technology and IT Enablement Thorough understanding of Land & Revenue Department Online Portals and their hierarchy.
