Overview

The Assistant General Manager/General Manager of HR Operations plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing the overall HR operations within the organization. This position is essential for ensuring the smooth functioning and strategic alignment of HR processes and initiatives to support the company's growth and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR operations strategies aligned with the overall business objectives
  • Oversee the design and implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance and best practices
  • Lead and manage the HR operations team, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals
  • Coordinate with senior management to align HR operations with strategic business needs
  • Identify and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance HR operational efficiency
  • Ensure accurate and timely HR data management and reporting
  • Manage employee relations and address complex HR operational issues
  • Oversee payroll, benefits, and HRIS administration
  • Lead change management initiatives and support organizational development efforts
  • Collaborate with legal counsel to ensure HR operations compliance with employment laws and regulations

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • Proven experience in a senior HR operations management role
  • Demonstrated expertise in HR strategy development and implementation
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, regulations, and compliance requirements
  • Experience in change management and organizational development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and data analysis
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Professional certification in HR management (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred
