General Description
Responsible for overseeing and managing plant's overall supply chain, inventory management and logistics strategy and operations in order to maximize the process efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- To ensure the customer demand is dynamically gathered & coordinate with the Production, procurement functions to ensure that products are shipped to customer ON TIME at best possible costs
- Responsible for Warehouse management, outward transportation, outside warehouse controls, safety & proper maintenance of Inventories.
- Handle export transactions & deal with shipping liners, forwarding agents
- Inventory Management, Effective material planning and control to maintain optimum inventory levels.
- Responsible for global and corporate Reporting's and also coordinate with corporate and global team for process alignment.
- Collecting and consolidating product wise sales forecast from Sales teams
- Demand forecasting by product wise and preparing monthly indents.
- Propose, evaluate and implement investment projects related to SCM topics.
- Supervise and motivate the team members to achieving continuous improvement in customer satisfaction, increased synergy spirit to enhance speed, communication, consistency and accuracy in dealing with customer inquiries, orders, delivery, shipping documentation, and customer complaints.
- Responsible for Warehouse inbound which includes the receiving process i.e unloading of trucks, booking of goods/empties and storing into the warehouse. If applicable also special activities like customs, repacking of supplier goods, supplier empties management and other processes related to the inbound process.
Work Experience Requirements
- Should be well versed with ERP system
- Should be from Manufacturing industry with working Experience of 15 - 20 Years.
- Candidate should be preferably from Indore
Education Requirements
- BE & MBA in Material / Supply Chain Management
