Nair Systems is currently looking for Agile Coach for our Qatar operations with the following terms & conditions.
Education/Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
10+ years of experience as an Agile Coach or Scrum Master, preferably in large financial institutions.
Demonstrated experience in leading Agile transformations at the team and organizational level.
Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, XP) and scaling methodologies (e.g., SAFe, LeSS, Nexus)
Relevant Agile certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or Project management professional certification (PMP) are highly desirable
Exceptional communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills
Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to influence and motivate individuals at all levels of the organization
Responsibilities
A. Agile coaching and training:
Train and mentor team members, leaders, and stakeholders in Agile principles, frameworks, and best practices (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, Lean, XP)
Collaborate with teams to create and refine Agile artifacts such as user stories, backlogs, and burndown charts
Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and team meetings to improve Agile knowledge, skills, and mindset across the organization.
Mentor/ coach team members to adopt a truly agile mindset companywide
B. Agile Transformation Support
Support the establishment of a Project Obeya Room (Agile Center of Excellence), fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing between teams and departments across the bank.
Collaborate with the transformation team to design and implement a roadmap for Agile adoption and scaling across the organization
Partner with leadership to align Agile practices with the organization's strategic goals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and adaptation
Facilitate retrospectives and other continuous improvement activities, identifying opportunities for process enhancements and efficiency gains
Foster a culture of experimentation and innovation, encouraging teams to embrace new ideas and challenge the status quo
Provide regular feedback and coaching to teams and individuals to improve their Agile practices and overall performance
C. Project Management
Demonstrate a strong understanding of project management best practices
Ability to develop and effectively manage project plans and scopes
Ensure adherence to project timeline and milestones
Identify and mitigate risk and issues
Ensure deliverables meet quality standards
Experience in building and managing project teams
Provide guidance and support to team members regarding project management/ execution
Ability to communicate project progress, issues and risk to stakeholders in a timely and effective manner
Results oriented and has a strong sense of ownership and accountability
