-At least 2 years of work experience in a Life Insurance/Reinsurance company in Reinsurance admin profile.
-Role requires a very good understanding of RENOVA software.
-Hands on Experience in Oracle SQL (or PL/SQL) & MS Excel.
-Candidates having sound knowledge of reinsurance treaties will be preferred.
Responsibilities:
Administration and calculation of monthly reinsurance premium through RENOVA.
Input data and output validation and Bordereaux preparation. Regularly reviewing data quality in core systems and reinsurance admin systems, implementing effective control measures to minimize errors proactively.
Analyzing root cause of incorrect premiums and reporting to development in case of bugs.
Setting up of new products and treaties into RENOVA and evaluating updates to the production environment to ensure smooth operations.
Providing support to internal departments regarding reinsurance audits, accounting matters, and compliance. Co-ordinating with different department such as Finance, Claims, IT and underwriting for any Reinsurance related queries.
Managing reinsurance accounting processes, reconciling financial transactions and maintaining accurate records.
Compiling regulatory and financial reports at quarterly and annual intervals, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Working on PL/SQL codes to automate the manual activities, data fetching or manipulating as per the Business requirement.
