Job Title: AEM Developer

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced AEM Developer with a strong background in AEM 6.5 to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of hands-on experience in AEM development, including expertise in AEM 6.5 architecture, Sling Models, HTL/Sightly, and JCR API. This role involves designing and developing AEM components, templates, and services, and collaborating with front-end developers to integrate AEM with modern web technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
AEM 6.5 Development:
- Design and develop AEM 6.5 components, templates, services, and workflows.
- Utilize the latest AEM 6.5 features and functionalities to enhance the content management system.
- Develop custom solutions using Sling, OSGi, JCR, and HTL/Sightly.
- Apply best practices for content management, caching, and content delivery.
Front-End Integration:
- Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration of AEM with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery technologies.
Optimization & Performance:
- Optimize AEM 6.5 applications for performance, scalability, and security.
- Implement and maintain effective caching strategies and content delivery mechanisms.
Maintenance & Support:
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for AEM 6.5 implementations.
- Manage AEM 6.5 deployments, upgrades, and migrations.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
Agile Development:
- Work effectively in an Agile development environment, adapting to changing requirements and project needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: 3-4 years of experience in AEM development, specifically with AEM 6.5.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of AEM 6.5 architecture, including the CRX repository and OSGi framework.
- Proficiency in Sling Models, HTL/Sightly, and the JCR API.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery).
- Working knowledge of Maven, JUnit, Sonar, and other Java frameworks/tools.
- Experience with Spring Security/SAML is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Flexibility: Ability to work 6 PM - 3 AM IST, with flexibility to accommodate project needs.
Preferred Skills:
- Agile Development: Previous experience in Agile development methodologies.
Note: Candidates should be based in or near Noida, Bangalore, Mumbai, Hyderabad, or Pune. While the role is remote, candidates may need to visit the office for asset collection and meetings if required.
