Adobe Experience Manager Developer
Responsibilities:
An AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) Developer is responsible for developing and implementing web applications and components using the AEM platform. Their duties typically include:
Designing and developing AEM components, templates, and workflows to support business requirements.
Customizing and extending AEM functionality through the development of servlets, OSGi services, and other Java-based solutions.
Integrating AEM with third-party systems and services, such as CRMs, eCommerce platforms, and analytics tools.
Collaborating with designers, content authors, and other stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality digital experiences.
Implementing best practices for AEM development, including version control, code reviews, and performance optimization.
Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to AEM implementation, configuration, and performance.
Providing technical guidance and support to other team members, including AEM Declarers and content authors.
Staying up-to-date with the latest AEM developments and technologies to continuously improve development processes and solutions.
Must-Have Requirements:
Expertise of Adobe Experience Manager V6.2/6.3/6.4/6.5.
Hands-on experience using AEM consoles/browser-based IDE CRXDE Lite.
Good knowledge of AEM applications using AEM Components and Templates, workflow, Content Authoring, Versioning, and Publishing Pages, Tagging, JCR/CRX Repository Concepts Nodes, Properties, etc.
Experience in AEM Sites, AEM Assets, AEM Form.
Experience with one or more Adobe marketing cloud products like Dynamic Tag Manager, Target, Analytics, Adobe Communities, and Campaign Manager.
Strong experience in Slightly / HTL and JavaScript.
Good communication skills
Motivated to complete tasks independently.
Excellent written and verbal skills.
Good to have Requirements:
Hands on experience in AEM e-Commerce experience.
Strong, conceptual knowledge of OSGi, Apache Sightly, Apache Oak, and Adobe Dispatcher.
Strong experience of back-end technologies like JSP & Java Enterprise Edition, web services
Well-versed with Maven/Gradle, Custom Tags, Open Services Gateway Initiative (OSGi) Services/Components, Apache Sling, Adobe Cloud Services, Workflows, Search (JCR, Query Builder).
Setup and configuration of AEM development environments, AEM author and publish instances, dispatcher or proxy.
