Key Responsibilities:
- Advanced management of Microsoft SQL Server
- Implementing and maintaining database security and access
- Designing complex database recovery plans and high-availability
- Leading performance tuning, optimization, and scalability
- Strategizing for database growth and capacity
- Collaborating with international teams to ensure seamless database support and
- Providing leadership and mentorship to junior
- Adapting to US working hours for critical issue resolution and client
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related
- 5+ years of experience as a SQL Server DBA or similar
- Expertise in Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO) with SQL
- Proficient in Microsoft Azure cloud
- Microsoft Certified: Database Administrator Associate or similar
- Excellent communication and leadership
- Ability to work flexibly in US time zones for critical support and communication
The following skills would be an added advantage:
- Experience with PostgreSQL and other database technologies (MySQL, Oracle)
- Familiarity with the Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Strong project leadership and team mentorship capabilities
