Job Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Ad Sales to drive the sales of our advertising
solutions. You will lead a team of sales professionals, develop sales strategies, and build long-term
relationships with clients to ensure revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong
background in digital advertising, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of achieving
and exceeding sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy: Develop and execute advertising sales strategies to meet company revenue goals.
Client Acquisition & Management: Identify new business opportunities, acquire new clients, and manage existing client relationships. Build and maintain long-term partnerships with advertisers and media agencies.
Sales Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team, ensuring that individual and team targets are met or exceeded.
Market Analysis: Stay updated with market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to provide input for product and service development.
Campaign Management: Collaborate with clients to create tailored advertising solutions and ensure the successful execution of ad campaigns.
Revenue Growth: Drive overall revenue by identifying and pursuing upselling opportunities with existing clients.
Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, operations, and product teams to optimize advertising solutions and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on sales performance, forecasts, and client feedback for senior management.
Required Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience in ad sales, preferably in digital advertising or media.
Sales Acumen: Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in the advertising industry.
Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience leading sales teams.
Client Relationships: Extensive network and experience in building strong relationships with advertisers, agencies, and brands.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market trends, sales data, and client needs to develop actionable strategies.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
Negotiation: Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with ad tech platforms, CRM tools, and data-driven sales strategies.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with programmatic advertising, native advertising, or video ad sales.
MBA or relevant postgraduate degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business.
Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
