As an Architect, you will be part of the AWS Platform team which includes members from India, Denmark and US.
You will be responsible for architecting, developing, improving, and operating AWS Cloud Platform and Cloud-native AWS services.
You will work on automating key processes and building delivery pipelines for infrastructure that is secure and compliant.
- Additionally, you will be responsible for the Advisory, Architecting and Operation Support of the cloud services in terms of building roadmap, evaluating the future, supporting service managers, and helping in continuous service improvements.
- Designing, developing, and improving our AWS cloud platform and cloud-native services to support our research initiatives, office sites, and production facilities worldwide. Taking part of driving an automation agenda across our cloud organization and Automation Community of Practice (CoP) and collaborate with highly technical skilled people in the department.
- Being responsible for automation of key processes through coding in the area of policy enforcement, deployment of Infrastructure as a code, account handling, identity and access management, tool development and connectivity with maintainability and compliance in mind.
- Participating in the automation of key processes into delivery pipelines that build our cloud infrastructure and ultimately make sure the services we provide to business are secure and compliant. Engage with different stakeholders in Novo Nordisk to broaden the understanding of cloud tooling and identify the automation opportunities.
- Be a Cloud evangelist within Novo Nordisk, customers, partners and external communities. Research new virtualization/future technologies and support with POC s for stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor s or master s degree in engineering, computer science (or equivalent) with overall 10+ years of experience in IT Industry. Minimum 3+ years of experience in automation and cloud development is preferred.
- Solid understanding of AWS platform and AWS cloud native services.
- Good understanding of Git, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) and cloud native software delivery.
- Experience in one programming/scripting language Python, PowerShell & Bash preferred.
- Good software design, problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Experience with agile and test-driven development (Unit test, mocks, integration test), test automation.
- Experience in Incident, Problem, Change within the ITIL framework and IT infrastructure and Operations.

- Experience in creating release pipelines for infrastructure in Azure DevOps and/or GitHub will be preferred.
- Experience in building microservices using event and domain driven design patterns will be preferred.
- Experience with application security, oAuth2/oID, Relevant AWS certifications will be preferred.
