Job Title: Education Counselor
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Counsellor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and possess excellent communication skills. As a Counsellor, you will play a crucial role in providing support and guidance to individuals seeking assistance.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct counselling sessions with clients to address their emotional, mental, and behavioural issues
- Utilise Adobe Captivate or similar tools to create engaging educational materials
- Present information and resources to clients in a clear and understandable manner
- Develop and implement tailored treatment plans for each client
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate clients on coping mechanisms and self-care strategies
Skills:
Minimum 6 months of experince as an Educational Counselor/ Academic Counselor/BDA in an edtech company
- Proficient in using Adobe Captivate or similar software for creating educational content
- Ability to present information effectively to individuals or groups
- Strong communication skills to interact with clients from diverse backgrounds
- Empathetic approach to understand and address clients needs
- Excellent listening skills to provide effective counselling sessions
