  • Prospective Student Engagement:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students and their families, addressing inquiries and providing detailed information about programs, admission requirements, and campus life.
  • Conduct information sessions, webinars, and campus tours to showcase the institution and its offerings
  • Application Support:
  • Assist students in completing application forms and submitting required documentation, ensuring clarity in the admissions process.
  • Review applications and provide guidance on the admissions criteria and decision-making process.
  • Outreach and Recruitment:
  • Participate in recruitment events, college fairs, and high school visits to promote the institution and attract prospective students.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with high school counselors and community organizations to enhance outreach efforts.
  • Advising and Counseling:
  • Provide personalized counseling to students regarding their academic options, financial aid, and scholarship opportunities.
  • Help students navigate challenges related to the admissions process and transition to college life.
  • Data Management and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of prospective student interactions and application status in the admissions database.
  • Assist in generating reports and analyzing data to inform recruitment strategies and improve the admissions process.
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with fellow admissions counselors and staff to create effective recruitment strategies and enhance the overall admissions experience.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Education, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in admissions, student services, or a related role preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with diverse populations.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with admissions software preferred.
