We are seeking a dynamic and empathetic female Admission Counselor to join our educational institute's admissions team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a passion for education, and a strong commitment to helping students navigate the admissions process.
Student Guidance: Provide guidance and support to prospective students throughout the admissions process, including application submission, program selection, and financial aid options.
- Admissions Outreach: Conduct outreach activities to attract potential students, including attending college fairs, high school visits, and community events.
Application Review:
Review and evaluate student applications, transcripts, and supporting documents to determine eligibility for admission.Interviews:
Conduct interviews with prospective students to assess their interests, goals, and fit for the institution.Information Sessions: Lead information sessions and campus tours for prospective students and their families to showcase the institute's programs, facilities, and campus life.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with high school counselors, community organizations, and other stakeholders to promote the institute and its programs.
Data Management:
Maintain accurate records of student interactions, applications, and admissions decisions using the institute's CRM system.Admissions Events:
Assist in the planning and execution of admissions events, such as open houses, orientation sessions, and admitted student days.Support Services: Collaborate with other departments, such as academic advising and financial aid, to provide comprehensive support to admitted students.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices in admissions counseling, and changes in admission requirements to ensure effective guidance for students.
Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, psychology, or a related field.
- Previous experience in admissions counseling, student recruitment, or a related field preferred.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with diverse groups of students and families.- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
