Student Advising:
Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective students, guiding them through the admission process, explaining program requirements, and answering questions about academic programs, admission criteria, financial aid, and campus life.Recruitment Events:
Represent the institution at college fairs, information sessions, open houses, and other recruitment events to promote the institution, engage with prospective students and their families, and provide information about academic programs and admission procedures.Application Processing: Review and evaluate admission applications, transcripts, and supporting documents to determine eligibility for admission, ensuring that all requirements are met and documentation is accurate and complete.
- Interviews and Assessments: Conduct interviews and assessments with prospective students to assess their interests, goals, and suitability for admission, and provide personalized guidance and recommendations based on their individual needs and aspirations.
Follow-up Communication:
Maintain regular communication with prospective students via phone, email, and other communication channels to provide updates, answer questions, address concerns, and offer support throughout the admission process.Database Management:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prospective student inquiries, applications, and admissions status in the admission database, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.Collaboration: Collaborate with admissions team members, academic departments, faculty, and other stakeholders to coordinate recruitment efforts, streamline processes, and enhance the overall admission experience for prospective students.
- Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports, analyze admission data, and provide insights and recommendations to inform recruitment strategies, improve conversion rates, and achieve enrollment targets.
Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
- Previous experience in admissions, student recruitment, counseling, or a related field in an educational institution.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of educational programs, admission processes, and financial aid options.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and admission management systems.
Candidates should be able to speak in English, Kannada and Hindi/Telegu. Any other Indian Language is an added advantage.
