Job Title: Admission Counselor
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Admission Counselor to join an esteemed CBSE-affiliated institution. As an Admission Counselor, you will play a pivotal role in guiding prospective students and their families through the admissions process, ensuring a seamless and positive experience from initial inquiry to enrollment.
- Student Guidance: Provide comprehensive guidance to prospective students and their families regarding the school's programs, curriculum, admission requirements, and extracurricular activities.
- Application Processing: Manage the admission application process efficiently, including the collection, review, and processing of all necessary documents and forms.
- Interviews and Assessments: Conduct interviews and assessments with prospective students to evaluate their academic readiness and fit for the school's culture.
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for all admission inquiries, maintaining prompt and professional communication via email, phone calls, and in-person meetings.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with prospective families, fostering trust and rapport to address any concerns or questions they may have throughout the admissions process.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with school administrators, faculty, and staff to ensure alignment between admissions goals and the school's mission and values.
- Events and Outreach: Participate in admissions events, open houses, and school fairs to promote the institution and attract potential students.
- Requirements:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in admissions counseling within a CBSE-affiliated school environment.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse audiences.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with admissions software systems is preferred.
