Job Description

Key Responsibilities:


  • nAdministrative Duties
    :


    n
    • nManaging the trust's day-to-day operations, including organizing meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes.
      n
    • nHandling communications, including correspondence with trustees, beneficiaries, regulatory bodies, and other stakeholders.
      n
    • nMaintaining records and filing systems, including legal documents, financial records, and reports.

  • nCompliance and Governance
    :


    n
    • nEnsuring the trust complies with all legal, regulatory, and governance requirements.
      n
    • nAssisting with audits and ensuring adherence to internal policies and external legal requirements.
      n
    • nCoordinating trustee meetings, ensuring accurate documentation, and following up on decisions and actions.

  • nFinancial Oversight
    :


    n
    • nAssisting in budget preparation, financial reporting, and the management of funds.
      n
    • nCoordinating with accountants or auditors to ensure proper financial management.
      n
    • nHandling payments, invoices, and receipts, and maintaining accurate financial records.

  • nTrustee and Beneficiary Support
    :


    n
    • nActing as a liaison between trustees and beneficiaries, ensuring clear communication and efficient handling of inquiries.
      n
    • nSupporting trustees in executing their responsibilities, including providing relevant information, reports, and updates.
      n
    • nHelping to process applications, grants, and distributions in line with the trust's objectives.

  • nPolicy Implementation
    :


    n
    • nAssisting in the development and implementation of policies and procedures for the trust.
      n
    • nEnsuring all decisions and actions align with the trust's mission, goals, and legal framework.

  • nEvent and Project Management
    :


    n
    • nOrganizing and managing events, projects, and initiatives related to the trusts mission.
      n
    • nMonitoring project progress and ensuring that timelines and objectives are met.

  • nRisk Management
    :


    n
    • nIdentifying and mitigating risks associated with the trust's operations.
      n
    • nEnsuring that the trust's assets are properly safeguarded and managed.

  • nExternal Relations
    :


    n
    • nRepresenting the trust in dealings with third parties such as legal advisors, government bodies, and beneficiaries.
      n
    • nManaging relationships with donors, partners, and stakeholders to ensure continued support for the trusts activities.
