Job Description

Specialist - Server, OS & Virtualization - IN
The role is responsible for server management and administration (either of own organization or client). They provide different levels of support for server operating systems, monitor servers in automated environment and manage incidents in case of server failures.

Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • They are involved in scripting for monitoring/ automating of the system administration activity on multiple servers, and also in performance analysis, capacity analysis and configuration management for servers. Incumbents are also involved in the support and maintenance of Virtual servers.
  • The job requires knowledge and work experience in different flavors of OS & high availability environments (HP-UX, Linux,AIX,Sun Solaris, Tru-64 etc.), OS related applications (Ex. XCOM, SNA etc.) and Virtualization software (Vmware vSphere, Hyper V, Citrix Hypervisor, etc.).
Educational Requirements
  • University (Degree) Preferred
Work Experience
  • 3+ Years Required 5+ Years Preferred
Physical Requirements
  • Physical Requirements: Sedentary Work

Career Level

This position requires advanced knowledge of active directory and Windows.
